Quintana Souza

Hey! My name is Quintana Souza, and I’m currently 22 years young. Living in good ol’ California with my boyfriend Wyatt and our awesome cat budha.
Throughout my younger years I was always athletic, and involved in sports. Volleyball, cheerleading, dance, and softball were my favorite! My freshman year of high school I started to have hip problems though unfortunately. After seeing many specialists, and never getting an answer to fix the pain, I ended up giving up all my sports. It caused me to start being much less active, and I started gaining unnecessary weight (16 lb to be exact). I had lost all my confidence.
Fast forward to my junior year of high school where I met a pretty cool dude named Wyatt. He was into bodybuilding, and started inviting me to work out with him. At that point I never stepped foot in a gym, and I was struggling with emotional binge eating, and constantly complaining about my body. I  was really upset at myself for I falling into such unhealthy habits due to my hip pain. Eventually Wyatt and I started dating, and it wasn’t until I attended my first bodybuilding show to watch him compete, that I got the inspiration to start living a healthier lifestyle. After just a few months of consistently working out, and eating healthier, my hip pain was completely gone, and I had lost the accumulated weight!
My confidence spiked and I signed up for my first pageant, and then local bodybuilding bikini competition. I fell in love! Now I have done several competitions, and have helped others with competing as well!
Over the past 4 years I have learned a lot from trial and error, lots of research, obtaining my personal training certifications, and learning information from other knowledgable trainers and athletes. Throughout fitness I have gained mental and physical strength, confidence in myself and the understanding of how important good nutrition is for your body to perform at its best!
I started personal training because my passion is sharing my knowledge with women so they can obtain a stronger, healthier, fit body, feel empowered, and confident.
